Between two slices of toasted 15 grain Green Earth bread is a Morning Star "griller" with some cheddar melted on it, a thick layer of baby spinach, sliced cuke, tomato, Fuji apple, and onion and a bit of mayo. Served with red cabbage kimchi, a couple pepperoncinis and some day old coffee. Simple and delicious!
This sounds so yummy I am tempted to forget about my apple allergy.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who is also allergic to apples, I'd say it's worth it. I guess it depends how severe yr allergy is though. At least for me it's worse if I bite into an apple than if it's already sliced like in a sammie.
